Financial Aid

The Southeast Community College scholarship program was established to promote and encourage interest in education for students planning to enroll, to reduce the student's financial obligation, and to recognize outstanding academic achievement in course work already completed at SCC. Scholarships are considered gift aid and do not require repayment unless the donor has clearly indicated repayment procedures in the scholarship announcement. Receipt of scholarships may affect other already awarded Financial Aid (loans). Tuition restricted scholarships are applied to the student's account, for an amount equal to the cost of tuition only, for the awarded quarter.

SCC Scholarship Applicants MUST provide a valid email address on the application, as ALL correspondence including award notification, is handled through email.

SCC Scholarship recipients are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED to submit a thank you letter to the scholarship donor.

The SCC Scholarship application is available:

May 1 - May 22 for students attending Summer Quarter
Aug 1 - Aug 22 for students attending Fall Quarter
Nov 1 - Nov 22 for students attending Winter Quarter
